Searching for ABA therapy in Miramar can feel like a lot, especially right after your child’s diagnosis.

We make it simpler by bringing one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) at home, at school, and at our center.

Our families live all over the city, from Sunset Lakes and Silver Lakes out west to the neighborhoods off Miramar Parkway.

Most of them come to us with the same three worries: Will insurance pay? How long is the wait? Will my child actually like the therapist? We can answer all three on your first call.

ABA Therapy Services for Miramar Families

Miramar sits right where Broward meets Miami-Dade. Plenty of local families live on one side of the county line and work or go to school on the other. We serve both counties, so your child’s care doesn’t stop at the line.

Each plan starts with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The BCBA studies how your child plays, talks, and handles changes in routine, then builds a plan around those needs. Most children receive 15 to 30 hours of therapy each week, set by the BCBA.

School-Based ABA Therapy

Think about how much happens before 10 a.m. at a school like Silver Lakes Elementary or Sunset Lakes Elementary. Drop-off, a crowded hallway, circle time, a fire drill on the wrong day. For a child diagnosed with autism, every one of those moments can be a hurdle.

With our school-based ABA therapy, an RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) works one-on-one with your child inside public schools, private schools, and daycares. The RBT helps with following directions, transitioning between activities, and getting along with classmates. Each school has its own rules for outside providers, and we work with the school to set things up correctly.

In-Home ABA Therapy

Mornings can be the hardest part of the day. Getting dressed, eating breakfast, and making it to the bus on time all at once is a lot for any child. Add a summer storm that keeps everyone inside all afternoon, and a small upset can grow fast.

Our in-home ABA therapy works on the routines that wear your family down. Sessions are mostly play-based. Your RBT uses games and rewards your child already enjoys, so practice feels like fun, not a chore. Brothers and sisters can join in too, and we offer support groups and training for siblings.

Community-Based ABA Therapy

Some kids grow the most when they are around other children. Our center gives them that chance in a calm space built for play, early intervention, and school readiness. From most of Miramar, the drive is down Interstate 75.

Visit our community-based ABA therapy page for program details. Families on the Broward side may also want to see our Pembroke Pines ABA therapy page, since many of our Miramar and Pembroke Pines families share the same schools and parks.

School Collaboration & Partnerships

Good teachers want every child to do well, but a classroom of 20 kids makes one-on-one help tough. We partner with private and public schools across Broward and Miami-Dade to give staff real strategies they can use in class.

If your child’s school in Miramar wants support, our school collaboration and partnerships team can meet with them. A shared plan between home and school helps your child practice the same skills in both places.

Servicios en Español

Many Miramar families speak Spanish at home. Your child’s therapy, your parent meetings, and your caregiver training can all happen fully in Spanish.

¿Prefiere hablar en español? Todo nuestro equipo de servicios puede atenderle en su idioma, desde la primera llamada hasta cada reunión con los padres.

What Parents Can Expect From Our Team

Parents often ask us, “Who is the best ABA provider near me?” Our honest answer: the best one is the provider who can start soon, takes your insurance, and keeps you in the room.

Here is how we handle each of those.

  1. You won’t sit on a waitlist. We have no waiting list. Once intake and insurance approval are done, we match your child with an RBT who fits their personality, and we move fast.
  2. Your plan is probably covered. We are in network with Florida Blue (BCBS), Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, AvMed, Humana, Oscar, Tricare, and First Health. See the full list on our covered insurance page.
  3. You stay part of the team. Your BCBA meets with you every week to go over goals and progress. Caregiver training is offered in person or by Telehealth, which helps on nights when getting across town just isn’t happening.

Our clinical team includes BCBAs, a BCaBA (Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst), RBTs, and a Lead BCBA who oversees every case.

We focus on preventing hard moments and calming them with respect. In 2026, we earned ACQ accreditation from the Autism Commission on Quality.

A quick tip for days off: the covered playground at Ansin Sports Complex gives your child shade and space to practice taking turns. Ask your BCBA which skill to work on before you go.

Your Child's Path From First Call to Graduation

Say you live in Monarch Lakes. Your pediatrician just confirmed your daughter’s autism diagnosis and handed you a prescription for ABA. You get home, set the papers on the kitchen counter, and wonder what comes next.

Here is exactly what happens.

  • First, the assessment. You complete intake with your child’s current ASD diagnosis and ABA prescription. Your BCBA gets insurance approval, then meets your child where they feel most at ease: at home, at school, or in the community. This step can take up to a month.
  • Next, the plan. The BCBA writes a Behavior Support Plan (BSP). It spells out which services your child gets and how many hours each week.
  • Then, daily therapy. Your RBT works with your child one-on-one, and your BCBA checks in every week. Skills need practice between sessions too, a lot like homework, so we show you how to keep them going at home.
  • Every six months, a checkup. The BCBA reviews the BSP, adjusts the goals, and sends it back to insurance for approval.
  • The goal is graduation. We set small goals that build toward bigger ones. Success means your child feels safe, can solve problems on their own, and finds joy in their relationships. You can read the full ABA process on our site.
